Young and relentless
In support of their debut album under Fueled By Ramen, Against The Current embarked on their In Our Bones with Manila as their third stop in Asia! The concert happened last September 10 at the SM North EDSA SkyDome.
The Metro Manila-based band Gracenote kicked off the show with their original songs off their album Transparent plus cover songs like The Chainsmokers ‘ “Don’t Let Me Down” and Stevie B’s classic “When I Dream About You.”
Chrissy, Dan, Will and other tour members of Against The Current took the stage with “Runaway”, “Forget Me Now” and “Talk” making fans scream “TALK! TALK! TALK!” at the top of their lungs.
The band performed songs off the recent release “In Our Bones” like “Young & Relentless”, “Chasing Ghosts” and “Roses”. Their album came out last May 20th but their fans already know most of the words to their songs!
Against The Current slowed things down by playing acoustic songs including Justin Bieber’s “Cold Water”, Chrissy couldn’t resist but fangirl over Justin Bieber saying she’s gonna get married with him someday, on-stage they also talked about how it would be cool to put out a DVD just like the Biebs and Katy Perry.

They also performed “Running With The Wild Things,” “Wasteland,” “Another You, Another Way,” but they left their fans wanting more! Chrissy went down on-stage to get closer to the fans and performed “Dreaming Alone” and “Gravity” for the encore!
