Vocalists and guitarists Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat, bassist Zack Merrick and drummer Rian Dawson opened their 18-song set list with “Last Young Renegade” at the Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday night for their Young Renegades tour in Manila.
Throughout the show, the crowd was almost as loud as the band as they sang along. Between songs, Gaskarth and Barakat enjoyed sharing jokes while talking to the crowd. Fans laughed with them as they enjoyed hearing their good-natured and witty banter.
The entire show sounded amazing. Fans were clapping, jumping around, screaming, singing and rocking like you would normally expect at a pop-punk concert.
Every member delivered high-energy vibe that was electrifying. Gaskarth, Dawson, Merrick and Barakat religiously interacted with the crowd. They also smiled and acknowledged some of the fans whom they seemed to remember from their past shows in Manila.
No wonder why Filipino fans still love them.

All Time Low previously visited Manila in 2011 for a concert at the Araneta, Coliseum. They returned in 2013 for pop-punk/rock festival Bazooka Rocks II, and in 2015 for a solo concert featuring The Maine.
Surreal experience
All Time Low closed their main set with “Good Times” before returning to the stage for the obligatory encore. “(Of course) You knew we were coming back,” exclaimed Gaskarth with a knowing smirk before performing another crowd favorite “Kids in The Dark”. He said, laughing: “You knew we forgot to play (this) one.”
The band ended the show performing “Drugs & Candy” and their breakout hit “Dear Maria, Count Me In”.
At the end, the boys bid their goodbyes. They thanked everyone present, walked off stage, accompanied by bursts of applause and standing ovations from their enthusiastic fans.

The band also promised to return. “We’ll back again soon, Manila! We love you! Good night!”
British pop punk band As It Is composed of Patty Walters, Benjamin Biss, Andy Westhead, Patrick Foley, and Alistair Testo opened the show.
