The wait is over!
World-renowned singer Celine Dion is finally coming to Manila for a one night show at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay on July 19, AEG Presents and Ovation Productions announced on Friday.
This will be Dion’s first time in Manila. She was initially set to perform at the MOA Arena in November 2014, but had to cancel the show due to her husband’s health.
In her Twitter post, the French-Canadian superstar said she is thrilled to be touring the Asia-Pacific region – and play for Japan, Macau, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand and the Philippines.
She remarked, “I can’t wait to be there with you. I can’t wait to sing for you. I can’t wait to see you. Be well.”

Celine Dion needs no introduction.
In 2004, she received the Diamond award at the World Music Awards recognizing her status as the best-selling female artist of all time. In 2016, The Billboard Music Awards presented her with the lifetime achievement Icon Award.
With 5 Grammys, 2 Oscars, and 7 American Music Awards under her name, Dion has become the multi-awarded and widely respected female artist of all time.

Dion currently has an ongoing Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, where she has played over 1,000 shows to over 4 million fans.
