Christian Bautista Melts Hearts During ‘Kapit’ Album Launch

Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista has successfully launched his new album Kapit under Universal Records through an intimate and fun concert on Friday night, September 29, at the Music Museum in Greenhills, San Juan.

Guest performers like Sam Concepcion, Kyle Juliano, Gio Levy and The Company performed and also shared the stage with the charming crooner.

Still shining bright

As one of the most sought-after balladeers, the 35-year-old hitmaker has enjoyed phenomenal success with a career spanning nearly 15 years. Along the way, he has cemented his pop idol status with multiple platinum certifications and a Diamond record award for his special album, A Wonderful Christmas. He is also the only male singer of his generation who found great success in other countries in Southeast Asia including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

Fast forward to today – the singer’s star still shines brighter.

This fact was evident on Friday night as he treated and impressed fans once again with his soothing voice singing his songs from across his career including new songs from Kapit. He absolutely nailed his performance while melting every single heart in attendance. And clearly, he did not disappoint.

Not only did he play some of his biggest songs, old and news hits such as “The Way You Look at Me,” “I’m Already King,” “Colour Everywhere,” “Kapit” and his new single “Huling Harana” – he also played some covers including Eraserheads’ “Huling El Bimbo” and did an OPM icons medley, which gave fans some major feels.

Throughout his performance, Christian kept engaging and interacting with his devoted fans letting them all know how grateful and lucky he was for all the love and support they have given him through the years.

“Thank you to everyone who encourages me. Salamat sa mga kumakapit lang lagi. Salamat sa pagpapaalala sa akin na kumapit. Mahal ko kayo,” the ecstatic singer remarked sincerely.
