Song of the Summer
Multi-platinum selling recording artist Demi Lovato is back with a very provocative new single.
“Cool For The Summer” is Demi’s first single since she announced at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila on April 30 that she was busy working on her forthcoming fifth studio album which is due later this year.
Produced by Max Martin and Wolf Cousins, the cheeky, song of the summer, “Cool for the Summer” marks Demi’s first release on Safehouse Records, a record label the 22-year-old launched with partners Nick Jonas and music executive Phil McIntyre, in a partnership with Island Records and Hollywood Records. New Demi
In an interview, Demi Lovato shared, “This time around, I’m free to explore. I can try anything, I can push my boundaries. It’s been so exciting to get back in the studio and hone in on my sound. This album is going to surprise some people and I can’t wait for my fans to take this journey with me.”
Lovato will embark on a whirlwind promotion tour that will find her dropping into cities across the U.S. throughout the holiday weekend. She will surprise fans at pool parties, join in the July 4th fun and even perform “Cool for the Summer” for those lucky enough to be in attendance.
