A perfect show for families and fans of all ages
The excitement builds up as global icon Hello Kitty stages a series of shows in Manila, dubbed as Hello Kitty Live – Fashion and Friends, from December 20 to January 1, 2017 at the Meralco Theater, made possible by Zen Tiger Live in association with Royale Chimes Concerts & Events Inc. Joining Hello Kitty are her twin sister Mimmy, bestfriend My Melody, boyfriend Dear Daniel, troublemaker Bad Badtz-Maru and the easy going Pom Pom Purin.
But what can kids, parents and fans of all ages expect in the show?
First is the chance to experience a great story full of interactive scene and dance numbers on the notes of the latest pop hits. The soundtrack of Hello Kitty Live has been conceived following the character’s profiling. Kitty is up-to-date, and so it has to be her musical environment, from the girlish pop very popular among teenagers to classy evergreens. It features songs by Bruno Mars, Kylie Minogue, James Blunt, Charli XCX, Echosmith, Clean Bandit, Flo Rida, among others.
But more importantly, Hello Kitty Live keeps the core values of kindness, politeness, hard work and friendship. It portrays Hello Kitty as a contemporary girl, up to date and curious, in order to create an even stronger bond with her fans. The goal is reached by the choice of the vocabulary, polite but familiar to the young audience.
Hello Kitty Live, which gained good reviews during the kick-off of their tour in United Kingdom and more recently in some parts of Asia, showcases a whole new experience made even more engaging by cutting edge technology, original animations on mega high definition LED walls and special effects. It also features fantastic fashion and costumes designed by Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand TokiDoki.
After each show, a meet and greet with photo opportunity together with the cast awaits those who will avail of the Red Bow Pass at the venue on a first come, first serve basis.
