Hot and intense
Singer-actor Matteo Guidicelli rolled out a hot new music video for the song “Wag Ka Nang Umuwi.”
According to Guidicelli, the inspiration behind “Wag Ka Nang Umuwi” is very simple. He remarked, “You and I sitting at home, just wanting to stay a little longer with you before you leave. You and I against the world. You and I escape for just a blink of an eve. You and I and no one else just before you leave.”
Matteo added, “Have you ever made a deep connection with someone you can spend all night staying up talking with? The song ‘Wag Ka Nang Umuwi’ is dedicated to all the romantics out there.”

Directed by Stephen Ngo, the video starred Azkals player Anton del Rosario and his partner Samantha Richelle.
“I worked with my production house BigBang Productions and we were able collaborate with one of the best advertising directors in the country,” Matteo shared. “He (Stephen) conceptualized the video and made sure he kept it hot and intense.”
Busy year
Guidicelli, who played a sold-out show for Hey Matteo in November, studied musical theater in the United States. “I’ve always wanted this. It has been my dream from the start.”
Matteo is set to have a busy year ahead. In an exclusive interview, Guidicelli revealed he is bent on making his music career bloom more this 2018.
“Our provincial album tours will continue. And we are also working on a few intimate gigs.”
But that’s not all.
Aside from his music projects, the endearing heartthrob is also set to star in a teleserye and is working on a new film. “The new year’s gonna be awesome. Thank you for all your unconditional love and support.”
