Mayday Parade has done it again.

Filipino fans were treated for yet another spectacular, special concert as Mayday Parade members Derek Sanders, Alex Garcia, Jeremy Lenzo, Brooks Betts and Jake Bundrick opened their 20-song set list with “Jamie All Over” and “Black Cat” at the Kia Theatre on Saturday night to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut record, A Lesson in Romantics.

Throughout the show, the crowd was almost as loud as the band. Crowd sang-along to the band’s timeless anthems, from “Jersey” all the way to “You Be The Anchor That Keeps My Feet on the Ground, I’ll Be the Wings in the Clouds,” with crowd-favorites “Miserable at Best,” “Ocean and Atlantic,” “Terrible Things,” “Kids in Love” and more in between. Everyone was clapping, jumping around, screaming, singing and swaying like you would normally expect at a rock concert. If anything, Mayday Parade’s concert in Manila was truly a momentous one.

‘Always getting better’

Mayday Parade is a band that is known for their genuine and unbreakable connection with their fans no matter where they are in the world. Last night’s show was no exception. For many fans, to paraphrase a Mayday Parade song, “these moments are priceless.”

“There’s a certain kind of enthusiasm and energy that the crowds here [in Manila] have that’s pretty much unmatched everywhere else you go,” Derek Sanders exclaimed. “[And] It gets better every single time. “

Back at you, Mr. Sanders. Easy.

“It’s been an absolute pleasure, being here with you tonight,” Sanders beamed.

Gawd, stop! You’re making our hearts melt again. Ahh…
The feels, bruh.

Just let it all sink in…

Whoa! You know?!

The most telling part of Mayday Parade’s concert was that the crowd didn’t start trickling out early. Everyone embraced the moment as most fans remained standing and really took their time before leaving the venue.

Everyone was just so happy and proud for the band. They wanted to see what Mayday Parade would do next. They wanted to “stay” to the end. Oh well, oh well…

After all, Sanders and the band made another promise. “I promise you guys, we’ll be back as soon as we can.”—.

Indeed, the Philippines is a country that loves Mayday Parade very muchjust  count how many times they have been here. Five times, baby!

No! Thank you Mayday Parade from the bottom of our hearts.

Here’s “Three Cheers” for 10 years guys!

All hail, Mayday Parade!
