Tributes have continued to pour in for the late Avicii from the likes of Madonna, The Chainsmokers, Martin Garrix, Zedd, Hardwell, Tiesto, Calvin Harris, Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, Ryan Tedder, Liam Payne and Jared Leto.
The Swedish DJ-producer, whose real name was Tim Bergling, was found dead in Muscat, Oman on Friday. He was only 28.
Best known for “Wake Me Up,” “Levels,” “Hey Brother,” “You Make Me,” “The Days” and many more – Avicii’s music will live on and his spirit will be forever alive. Just like his powerful lyrics on “The Nights”.
He said: “One day you’ll leave this world behind
So live a life you will remember”
And he did… he actually did!
He lived a life that will be remembered and embraced by so many around the world.
Since the devastating announcement, the music community has expressed their sorrow and sympathies via social media to pay their respects. We compiled a few of them.
I’m crying on the airplane. I hope I don’t make the passengers nervous. #RIPAVICII

. @Avicii was talented and kind, and I was genuinely excited to see what would come next from him. His future most certainly should have been written beyond age 28. I am
heartbroken.
Rest easy Tim.— Kaskade (@kaskade) April 20, 2018

Tim, since day one you’ve been one of my biggest inspirations to make dance music. You put Sweden on the map with the most memorable melodies in the world. I wish I could have said a few last words to you before you left this place. Millions of people will remember you forever. pic.twitter.com/oj06UoAxyK
