After months of waiting, the one of a kind Neverland Manila x Raveoulition finally culminated at the new Mckinley West Festival Grounds in Taguig on April 2, 2016. No one ever thought of uniting the Dreamchasers and the Raevolutionaries save for the NVLM Events Group and Powerhouse Productions.
To give you a brief background about the two promising events production companies, NVLM Events Group produces the annual Neverland extravaganza while Powerhouse Productions produces the famed Color Manila Run – and the result? A one of a kind, mind-blowing, out of this world experience of amazing music and splashes of color! Wild!
With sick beats from local talents such as the amazing Ron Poe, Kat DJ, Marc Marasigan and fan favorite Patty Tiu, and international fanfares Kura, Firebeatz, Dannic, and Galantis, NxR was sure to be a wild night from the very beginning.
People flocked from all over the Metro wearing their most fashionable yet comfiest outfits ready to be soaked with color by the paint canons while taking in the amazing music from the best musicians in the country and abroad. The event was complete with a pool ready to give the audience a wet and (already) wild night! Not only that, beer pong tables were ready to be played with, dozens of booths for food and drinks, and a solid crowd jumping and partying like it’s their last night in the world. I’ve never seen a crowd party like that before! NxR is one of the most promising and most creative music festivals in recent memory and everyone who came brought home an unforgettable experience.
We’re sure you’ve heard that this is only the beginning of something even better as NxR is the kick-off of *drumroll please* Neverland Manila 2016 which will open later this year! Congratulations to the whole production teams of NVLM and Powerhouse- you guys surely set the bar high for the up and coming summer music festivals. Keep your eyes and ears open for the coming announcements for Neverland 2016 because this is surely a festival you don’t want to miss!
