DΞΔN feels the love from Filipino fans
Multi-platinum South Korean songwriter DΞΔN, who first started his musical journey as a hip-hop artist at age 16, is in Manila for the first time to promote his debut album 130 Mood: TRBL.
In a press conference hosted by MCA Music Philippines, DΞΔN shared his love and passion for music. “I am happy to be in Manila and to be able to perform for my Filipino fans.”
Talking about his album, DΞΔN confessed he is a huge fan of James Dean. ‘130’ is kind of symbol of James Dean as he put the number 130 on his car. ‘TRBL’ stands for ‘trouble’ and it’s from DΞΔN’s nickname ‘DΞΔN TRBL’. The album is in reverse order of one man’s love story, from falling in love with a 21-year-old girl to suffering heartbreak, which seems to be a part of our life. It will win the sympathy of the listeners through his storytelling.
DΞΔN said he has no plans to be an actor as he is more interested in playing music. “My job is to make the music.”
PH rebels will be delighted to know that DΞΔN is very open to work with Filipino artists as long as their music styles match with each other. He would also like to write a song for Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon. Her latest single, “Starlight,” featured DΞΔN, where he also appeared in the music video.
DΞΔN’s album promo showcase is set later at SM North EDSA Sky Dome at 5 p.m.
“It’ll be a great show, I promise,” DΞΔN’s proudly beamed. Watch the official music video of “Put My Hands On You” below.

And even though he is deemed as the “future of Korean RnB”, truly the epitome of humbleness, the “I Love It” singer said he takes it as a (big) motivation to further develop himself. With his talent and passion for music, fans could definitely look forward to more great music from DΞΔN in years to come.
