British-born and internationally acclaimed pop songstress Cher Lloyd is taking back the reigns with the release of her sensational new track “Activated” for her upcoming third album.
Described as “fierce” and “revved-up” by Rolling Stone Magazine, the single has already garnered more than 140k of plays in less than 24 hours, with its title #activated trending worldwide on Twitter.
“I’ve waited two years to have creative control of my own career and finally do things my way,” explains sassy Cher. “Returning with new music and releasing ‘Activated’ is such a huge deal for me. “I’m charged up. I’m getting activated,” the 22-year-old proclaims in the opening lines of her latest release. And activated she is, having taken a few years out of the spotlight (since the release of her hit single “Really Don’t Care” with Demi Lovato in 2014), Cher has been working hard in the studio, writing and recording new material in Los Angeles and is now ready to show the world what she’s really made of.
