It’s the Live Grand Finale of Your Face Sounds Familiar. And now it comes down to text votes.
Who will win? Is it a JayR landslide win? Does dark horse Edgar Allan Guzman stand a chance? Perhaps, it’s Nyoy Volante for the taking? Or will mutya ng masa Melai Cantiveros be a ‘spoiler’?
On Sunday’s episode of ABS-CBN’s Your Face Sounds Familiar, the four finalists were revealed. Singer-actress Jolina Magdangal finished fifth followed by actress Karla Estrada, 6cyclemind vocalist Tutti Caringal and actress Maxene Magalona.
The top 4 will battle it out for a grand showdown on June 6 and 7, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila. The first Your Face Sounds Familiar Grand Winner will receive two million pesos. Half of which will be given to his or her chosen charity.

Charming the Kapamilya viewers via Your Face sounds Familiar, JayR proudly shared, “I never knew I had a talent to impersonate artist icons. I guess the show brought it out of me.” He humbly confessed, “I feel like I’m learning a lot studying the different styles, genres and vocals. I feel like I’m growing as an artist on the show and I love that. It inspires me to make my original songs even better. To elevate as an artist in the music industry.”
And there’s no stopping the King of R&B in doing more. He is busy doing concert and corporate shows all over, as well as promoting his new all-original album Elevated, released under his own independent record label, Homeworkz Music.
Composed of 14 outstanding tracks with collaborations from Kyla, Mica Javier, Q-York, Gabi Wilson, Jhing, Jimmy Muna, Marié Dibgy, AJ Rafael and Kris Lawrence, JayR’s current single “You Are Not Alone” features the R&B Queen Kyla.
JayR’s Elevated album is about to reach gold and currently receiving extensive critical acclaim from top digital outlets, including from his co-artists like singer Kris Lawrence, who shared in an interview that JayR has indeed taken Philippines’ R&B to the next level.
