It’s the season’s hottest concert! Presented by Smart and Ovation Productions, some of YouTube’s hottest artists headlined by Leroy Sanchez are performing in Manila on July 9, Saturday, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Also confirmed in the line up are Max Schneider, Sam Tsui with Kurt Hugo Schneider and Australian band At Sunset.
Here’s a brief profile of the artists:
Leroy Sanchez – Sanchez began his promising career at the age of 15 years old when he posted his first video on YouTube. Since then, he has posted 70 videos with close to 34 million YouTube views. Among the artists he’s covered include Adele, Rihanna, Jessie J, Frank Ocean, Bonnie Raitt, Tori Kelly and more.

Max Schneider – New York City-based pop-soul singer and actor, Schneider started performin at age three and got his first agent at the age of 14. Max was a swing understudy in the Broadway musical 13 covering 4 roles from 2008 and 2009. He also modeled with Madonna for an international Dolce and Gabbana ad campaign and toured with Fall Out Boy, Wiz Khalifa, and Hoodie Allen on the Boys of Zummer Tour.

Kurt Hugo Schneider – Born in Baltimore in 1988 and grew up in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Kurt is a composer, music producer, and director. Most of his work is on his YouTube channel http://youtube.com/KurtHugoSchneider. Kurt has also worked with some of today’s popular YouTube stars including Sam, Max Schneider, Against The Current, Alex Goot, and many more.

Sam Tsui – Hailed as an internet singing sensation, Sam was among the first musicians to establish a hugely popular music-focused channel on Youtube. To date, his videos, including covers, medleys, and mashups, have amassed over 500 million hits on Youtube alone, with each new release he makes, including his 2013 debut original album “Make It Up.” He has also appeared on shows such as The Ellen Show, The Oprah Show, and was featured in magazines such as Entertainment Weekly, and In Style magazine. His second album is currently in the works.

At Sunset – Hailing from Adelaide, Australia, At Sunset features brothers Harrison and Andrew Kantarias, and their good mate Tom Jay Williams. The trio came together with two things in common: their love of music and their enthusiasm for the fun things in life. According to the press release, Harrison shared the name of the group.
“The name is a metaphor for our feelings towards music. We like to be upbeat, positive, and really just enjoying life. Playing music, sunsets, beaches, pools, girls in bikinis.. it doesn’t get better than that, does it?” Harrison beamed.
In the two years since making an online presence, the band have amassed well over 5 million views on YouTube; 300,000 combined Twitter followers; one million Facebook likes; and an ever increasing army of fans globally.
