Fans can’t stop smiling.
On February 22, three world-class artists were all on one stage! Multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban is back as part of his Bridges Tour Live in Manila. Groban last performed in 2007.
Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista opened the show and enthused the MOA Arena crowd as he sang his hits as well as a tasteful duet with the man of the hour, Josh Groban.
I have known him just through the years. I’ve heard his voice, I’ve seen him on Twitter, and I have followed his story. Christian is kind as he is talented. Josh wrote on Twitter.
The concert last night of Josh Groban was a full-circle musical experience for me. Almost 15 years ago I entered the singing contest Star in a Million singing ‘You’re Still You.’ Yesterday I was able to sing a duet with him ‘We Will Meet Once Again’ from his latest album – Bridges. Besides his great talent I also saw his humility, gratefulness and kindness towards others. Christian wrote on Twitter.
Presented by Ovation Productions, the February 22 concert was a night to remember as the unmistakable voice behind global hit “You Raise Me Up” enchanted his Filipino fans with his magnificent voice and charisma.
Josh performed songs off his new record and some of his greatest hits such as “She’s Out Of My Life,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and “To Where You Are.”
Broadway royalty Lea Salonga made the night even more special. These two powerhouses performed pitch-perfect versions of Phantom of the Opera’s “All I Ask Of You” and Celine Dion’s “The Prayer”.
Groban and the entire MOA Arena even sang Happy Birthday to Lea to celebrate her special day.
Manila, thanks for the amazing welcome back. After 12 years to see so many thousands of you showing us the love, it meant so much. It won’t be another 12 (years) I promise. Josh wrote on Twitter.
