It was a bittersweet trip down memory lane when legendary singer and songwriter Kenny Rogers and Ovation Productions brought his final world tour to the Philippines, titlted as The Gambler’s Last Deal at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on August 11, 2016.
The soon-to-be 78 year old entertainer serenaded the audience for nearly two hours with such memorable hits like “Through The Years,” “You Decorated My Life,” and “She Believes in Me”.
Kenny Rogers was also joined by Country singer Linda Davis, who did several duets with him.
In between tunes, Kenny shared jokes and revealed stories behind his phenomenal career as a singer and actor, plus his collaborations with many famous artists.
Wrapping up the night with the songs “The Gambler,” “Lady” and “Islands in the Stream,” Kenny Rogers proved his reputation as a top notch entertainer and one that many will remember for a very long time.
